KIPS College CEO Abid Wazir Khan Abducted in Lahore, Police Launch Investigation

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

LAHORE: The Chief Executive Officer of KIPS College, Abid Wazir Khan, was abducted on Thursday while leaving his office in the Johar Town area of Lahore. The incident has triggered a large-scale police investigation across the city and nearby districts.

According to the First Information Report registered at Johar Town Police Station, Khan was intercepted by unknown individuals while he was on a phone call with the college’s female general manager. During the call, she reportedly heard a male voice accusing Khan of damaging a vehicle in an accident before the call was abruptly disconnected.

Police officials said multiple angles are being examined, including personal enmity and other possible motives. While early speculation suggested a ransom-related kidnapping, authorities have confirmed that no ransom demand has been received so far.

DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran stated that the case is not currently being treated as a ransom kidnapping. He added that police teams have been active since Thursday night and are using CCTV footage, mobile data, and other technical resources to trace the movements of the abducted CEO.

Law enforcement agencies are coordinating efforts within Lahore and surrounding districts to locate Khan as soon as possible. Authorities have urged the public and media to avoid spreading unverified information, saying it could negatively affect the ongoing investigation.
