Larijani Issues Stern Warning to Trump Over Supreme Leader’s Death

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Following the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in US and Israeli attacks Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani issued a strong warning to US President Donald Trump, stating that the cost of Khamenei’s death will be heavy. In a post on social media platform X Larijani criticized Trump for following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reckless actions and accused him of dragging the American people into an unjust war with Iran. He questioned whether Trump prioritizes America first or Israel.

The escalation began after the US and Israel carried out large scale strikes on multiple locations in Iran on February 28. In response Hezbollah fired rockets and drones at Israel, prompting Israeli airstrikes and troop deployments in southern Lebanon. The Ministry of Health reported 72 killed and 437 injured in Lebanon, while air raid sirens sounded across Beirut.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed a US warship was sunk by a torpedo targeting Iranian naval assets while US officials stated that preemptive measures were taken to protect American forces. Israel continues to intercept additional missiles launched from Iran with civilians ordered to remain in shelters as tensions remain high across the region.
