Militants Attempt Propaganda Video in Bara, Escape as Forces Move In

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Khyber District: Suspected militants attempted to create the impression of controlling an area in Bara by filming a TikTok video but fled the scene when security forces moved toward the location.

According to reports, the incident occurred near Dogra Hospital, where a group of militants stood on the road for about ten minutes and temporarily stopped members of the public.

Sources said the group set up a makeshift checkpoint, briefly stopping vehicles and individuals for searches before leaving the area. As soon as they received information that security forces were approaching, they fled the scene.

Upon receiving reports of their presence, security forces quickly reached the Shalobar Bypass and launched a search operation in nearby areas including Darra Adda, Frontier Road, Shalobar, and Bara Bazaar.

Security forces are continuing search and clearance operations in the area to ensure that no militant or disruptive elements are able to re-establish their presence.

Officials noted that such tactics are not limited to Khyber District alone. Similar incidents have reportedly occurred in nearby areas including Bannu, where militant elements briefly appear, carry out activities for a short period, and then quickly escape to avoid security operations.
