FIA mandates uniforms for all executive officers
Islamabad: The newly appointed Director General (DG) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Usman Anwar has announced a significant administrative decision immediately after taking charge. A new uniform policy has been officially implemented, mandating that all executive officers and officials in the Immigration and Investigation cadres wear uniforms while on duty.
Under the new policy, executives from Grade 17 to Grade 22 are now required to adhere to the uniform code during working hours. Formal directives have been issued, instructing relevant departments to ensure immediate compliance.
Officials stated that the move aims to enhance discipline, professional identity, and uniformity within the agency. The policy has already begun to be enforced across all applicable branches, reflecting the FIA leadership’s focus on operational standardization and organizational coherence.
This decision marks one of the first major administrative reforms under the new DG, signaling a shift toward stricter regulations and improved institutional management.
