Police return recovered items to owners while pursuing remaining gang members
Nowshera: The Akora Khattak Circle Police have apprehended a five-member gang leader, Muhammad Riaz, involved in a series of robberies, police confirmed.
Acting on the directive of DPO Ahmed Shah, a specialized investigative team conducted a technically supported operation leading to the recovery of six stolen mobile phones, cash amounting to several hundred thousand rupees, and two motorcycles used in the robberies.
During interrogation, Riaz disclosed the identities of his four accomplices, prompting police to launch raids to apprehend the remaining members. Authorities have returned the recovered items to their rightful owners and have continued investigations into the gang’s activities.
Officials have urged the public to report any related suspicious activities to assist in the ongoing probe.
