Pakistan Army Vows Relentless Action Against Terror Proxies at 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Top military leadership reiterates resolve to eliminate terrorism, strengthen national security, and support regional peace efforts.

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir chaired the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference, where Pakistan’s top military leadership reaffirmed its commitment to national security, counterterrorism operations and regional stability, according to a statement released on Tuesday.

The forum began with prayers for the martyrs of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and civilians who sacrificed their lives in defense of the country. Participants paid tribute to their “unmatched sacrifices,” describing them as the foundation of Pakistan’s security.

The army chief praised the professionalism, operational readiness and sustained intelligence-based efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces in ongoing counterterrorism operations. He commended their resilience and dedication to safeguarding the country against evolving threats.

The forum emphasized that close coordination among the government, military and public remains vital for strengthening Pakistan’s security framework, boosting economic stability and enhancing its global standing.

Participants reiterated that all terrorist proxies, facilitators and abettors — allegedly backed by India and other external actors — would be pursued relentlessly and eliminated without discrimination.

The conference also reviewed the progress of “Operation Ghazab Lil Haq,” vowing to maintain its momentum until militant safe havens are dismantled and the use of Afghan territory against Pakistan is decisively stopped.

On regional developments, the forum appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions in the Middle East and promoting peaceful negotiations. It underscored the country’s role as a responsible stakeholder and a stabilizing force in regional security.

The participants strongly condemned recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical and industrial facilities, terming them an unnecessary escalation. They expressed concern that such actions undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts and destabilize the region.

The forum also rejected what it called “misleading narratives” and “false flag operations” attributed to India, stating that such claims have been exposed internationally.

Serious concern was expressed over ongoing human rights violations in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, including extrajudicial killings and alleged fake encounters.

Concluding the conference, the army chief directed commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational preparedness, discipline, training, physical fitness and innovation. He expressed full confidence in the armed forces’ capability to counter all threats and ensure Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
