Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Lahore: Pakistan made a winning start to the three-match T20 series by defeating Australia by 22 runs in the first T20 International at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.

After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha elected to bat first. The home side posted 168 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Pakistan’s batters put up a competitive total on a pitch that offered assistance to both bowlers and batters.

In reply, Australia could manage only 146 runs for eight wickets in their 20 overs. Cameron Green was the top scorer for Australia with 36 runs, while Bartlett contributed 34 runs, but their efforts were not enough to chase down the target.

Pakistan’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance. Saim Ayub and Abrar Ahmed picked up two wickets each, applying consistent pressure on the Australian batting lineup. Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz also chipped in with one wicket apiece, helping restrict the visitors.

With this victory, Pakistan have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 series, gaining early momentum ahead of the remaining matches.
