Pakistan Eye Clean Sweep After Winning Toss in Final T20I vs Australia

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

LAHORE: (Yaseen Hashmi) Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against Australia in the third or last of the three T20I matches and this was the third win in tosses in this series.

It is the last of the series as the match took place at Lahore and already Pakistan is leading with an unchallenged 2-0 advantage. Hosts captured the series earlier, the first bilateral T20I series win they had over Australia since 2018.

The only change made by Pakistan in their playing XI involved the inclusion of one young batter Khawaja Nafiq, as part of the exercise on bench strength, before their future international assignments. The management of the team stated that the move was to offer exposure to the rising talent as well as to keep the momentum going.

Australia also had a prominent switch in which the all-rounder Marcus Stoinis was back in the squad. His presence will bolster the middle order of Australia and give it another bowling option.

Pakistan will be seeking a clean sweep, whereas Australia seeks to escape a whitewash and leave the tour on a good note.

The match is believed to be aimed at preparation of future international competitions by both teams and the conditions in Lahore will provide a balanced game of bat to ball.
