HARARE: Pakistan U19 delivered a commanding all round performance to outclass New Zealand U19 in the 31st One Day International of the Super Six stage registering a comfortable seven wicket victory.

After winning the toss, Pakistan elected to bowl first a decision that proved decisive. The New Zealand batting lineup struggled against relentless and disciplined bowling, losing wickets at regular intervals. Abdul Subhan spearheaded the attack with an impressive four-wicket haul while Ali Raza provided excellent support claiming three crucial scalps.

Ali Raza removed key batters Marco William Alpe (2) Snehith Reddy (6), and Brandon Nicholas Matzopoulos who was dismissed without scoring. Subhan further tightened the grip by dismissing Jacob James Cotter (2), Jaskaran Sandhu (0), and Mason Clarke. New Zealand never recovered from the early damage and were bowled out for a modest 110 in 28.3 overs.

In reply, Pakistan chased the target with ease and confidence Opener Sameer Ahmed Minhas starred with a brilliant 76 off 59 balls smashing10 fours and two sixes. Despite an early wicket contributions from Usman Khan and skipper Farhan Yousaf ensured a smooth finish.

The emphatic win reinforced Pakistan U19’s strong position in the Super Six stage and underlined their growing dominance in the tournament.
