LAHORE, Pakistan — The Pakistan vs Australia T20I series will now begin at 4 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time, instead of the originally scheduled 6 p.m. start, officials confirmed.
All three matches of the series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Jan. 29, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2026. While the start time has been revised, the venue and match dates remain unchanged.
The adjustment in match timing is expected to impact broadcasters, players and spectators, particularly fans planning to attend the games at the stadium. No official reason was provided for the change.
The series marks Australia’s return to Pakistan for a short-format assignment and is expected to attract significant attention from cricket fans. Both teams are using the T20I fixtures as part of their preparations for upcoming international tournaments and bilateral commitments.
Gaddafi Stadium, one of Pakistan’s premier cricket venues, has hosted several high-profile international matches in recent years, reflecting the country’s continued return to the global cricket calendar.
Further details regarding ticketing, broadcast schedules and team lineups are expected to be announced closer to the series.
