Islamabad: (Syed Muhammad Yaseen Hashmi)- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the launch of a nationwide talent hunt scheme to discover new cricket players across the country. The program has been named the “Be Future Star Talent Program” and will be held in various cities from February 11 to May 1.
According to the PCB, open trials will be conducted at each venue by the board’s selectors and coaches, where young players will be able to showcase their skills. Players selected through these trials will be sent to PCB High Performance Centers for further training and development.
The trials will be organized in different cities across all four provinces. The listed cities include Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, Karachi, Bahawalpur, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Quetta, Abbottabad, and Dera Murad Jamali.
The PCB stated that this program will play an important role in bringing new cricketing talent to the forefront and providing them with high-level training to prepare them for future challenges.
