Islamabad: Barrister Salman Safdar, counsel for the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said on Tuesday that the PTI founder’s health is fine and that he was given full access during his meeting at Adiala Jail.
Speaking briefly to the media after meeting the PTI founder, Barrister Salman Safdar said that the meeting lasted nearly three hours and was conducted in accordance with court orders. He stated that full access was provided during the visit.
“I have come out after a three-hour meeting,” Safdar told reporters outside Adiala Jail. However, he refrained from sharing further details, saying that it would not be appropriate to comment until a formal report is submitted to the Supreme Court.
Safdar added that he would present his observations before the court and would avoid public discussion until the submission of the report. The meeting was held following the Supreme Court’s direction, under which Salman Safdar was appointed as a friend of the court to assess the PTI founder’s living conditions and overall well-being.
The case has drawn significant attention amid ongoing legal proceedings involving the PTI founder, with the court expected to review the submitted report in the coming days.
