Rabia Noorin Opens Up About Mental Health Struggles After Husband Abid Ali’s Death

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Senior actress Rabia Noorin highlights importance of mental health awareness and self-recovery after depression experience

Veteran Pakistani actress Rabia Noorin has revealed that she suffered severe mental stress following the death of her husband, actor Abid Ali, describing it as one of the most difficult phases of her life.

Speaking at a wedding event, Noorin said she was unfamiliar with the term “mental health” until she personally experienced emotional distress. She explained that her condition, commonly referred to as depression, led to a loss of interest in daily life, including social interaction, eating, dressing, and communication.

The actress shared that her recovery was supported by her siblings, particularly her brother, a homeopathic doctor who assisted in her treatment. However, she emphasized that true recovery ultimately depends on personal determination and self-effort.

Noorin stressed the close link between mental and physical health, stating that physical well-being cannot be achieved without mental stability. She urged people experiencing mood changes or emotional distress to speak openly with others and take steps toward recovery rather than suffering in silence.
