Rawalpindi:(Click Pakistan) Following the vision of the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi and on the directives of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, the City Traffic Police have continued their public awareness campaigns aimed at promoting traffic laws and road safety.
Under the supervision of RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani and on the instructions of CTO Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam, the Traffic Police Education Wing has launched an awareness drive across various parts of the city. Traffic police officials are educating road users about the importance of wearing seat belts, the dangers of using mobile phones while driving, and the need to follow traffic rules to prevent accidents. The campaign is designed to raise awareness among drivers and encourage responsible behavior on the roads.
Speaking on the occasion, CTO Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam said that the primary objective of the awareness campaign is to inform road users about the benefits of seat belt usage and strict compliance with traffic laws. He emphasized that wearing a seat belt while driving significantly reduces the risk of serious injuries and loss of life during accidents.
He further stated that adherence to traffic rules plays a key role in preventing road accidents and ensuring public safety. Observing traffic laws, he added, reflects the discipline and values of a civilized society.
The Rawalpindi Traffic Police reaffirmed their commitment to continuing such awareness initiatives to promote safer roads for all citizens.
