ISLAMABAD: Remittances through Pakistan’s Roshan Digital Account (RDA) rose to $11.707 billion by the end of December 2025, up from $11.494 billion in November, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
For December alone, RDA inflows totaled $213 million, compared to $181 million in November and $205 million in October 2025. The accounts, designed for Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs) including Pakistan Origin Card holders, provide banking, investment, and payment services within Pakistan.
The number of registered RDA accounts increased by 10,093 in December, reaching 893,193, up from 883,037 in November.
Investments by overseas Pakistanis through RDA also grew, with $499 million in Naya Pakistan Certificates, $1.024 billion in Naya Pakistan Islamic Certificates, and $106 million in Roshan Equity Investment as of December 2025.
The steady growth of remittances and investments reflects the increasing confidence of NRPs in digital banking solutions and Pakistan’s financial markets. Authorities have emphasized that RDA continues to provide a secure, convenient platform for overseas Pakistanis to contribute to the country’s economy while benefiting from modern banking facilities.
