NOWSHERA: (Anwarzeb Khan) The news of the commencement of the construction of the Safe City Nowshera Control Room at Police Lines under the Safe City Nowshera project has been officially announced, and it is an important milestone in enhancing the safety and improvement of law enforcement within the District.
The development allocations being given by the Provincial Assembly Member of Mian Muhammad Umar Kakakhel is being used to fund the project. Through the initiative, they will improve the presence of surveillance to increase crime prevention systems in Nowshera.
The member of provincial assembly Mian Muhammad Umar Kakakhel, National assembly member Syed Shah Ahad and the District police officer (DPO) Nowshera visited the construction site to check the progress and survey the development work going on. Officials were also happy with the rate of construction and once again they stated that they would complete the project as soon as possible.
In the safe city Nowshera project, high-resolution surveillance cameras linked to national database and registration authority (NADRA) will be deployed throughout the district. Authorities indicated that the system will assist in tracking criminal activities, faster response in times of emergency, and also, the law enforcement agencies will effectively identify the suspects.
Delivering the speech, the officials have stated that the Safe City program represents the realization of the commitment toward the citizens to make Nowshera a safe and peaceful place. They further stated that the project will be crucial in ensuring law and order and improvement in the general security among the residents.
