DPO Sargodha orders departmental action after local dairy worker tortured by policeman and accomplices
SARGODHA: (Tahir Kamboh) A routine money dispute turned into a violent ordeal in Bhulwal when a local dairy worker, Amjad Ali, was allegedly beaten and tied up by a police constable and his associates. According to reports, the accused, Sajid, instructed the dairy worker to deliver cash to the residence of Constable Mushtaq. Upon arrival, Amjad Ali was restrained and subjected to physical assault by Constable Mushtaq, Sajid, and another accomplice, Saif.
Following the incident, DPO Sargodha took immediate notice, suspending Constable Mushtaq and ordering departmental proceedings. Police from Bhulwal’s Saddar Station have already arrested Constable Mushtaq and Sajid, while operations are ongoing to apprehend Saif. The DPO emphasized strict action against any misuse of authority, stating that the law would take its course regardless of the individuals involved.
