Islamabad: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, has praised Pakistan’s diplomatic role in addressing the tense situation in the Middle East, calling the country’s responsible stance and wise diplomacy commendable.
In a statement, the ambassador expressed deep concern over attacks on Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, describing such aggressive actions as unjustified assaults on sovereign states.
He emphasized that these attacks represent a blatant violation of international law and United Nations principles, resulting in significant loss of life and targeting residential areas, civilian infrastructure, and airports. He added that ensuring stability in the region is a shared responsibility.
Ambassador Al-Malki highlighted that wisdom and global solidarity are essential to overcoming the crisis, and stressed the importance of respecting international law to safeguard the future of all nations.
He reiterated his appreciation for Pakistan’s responsible approach and diplomatic efforts, stating that adherence to humanitarian principles remains the best path to maintaining peace and security.
