WEB DESK: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued important guidelines for Hajj 2026, making it mandatory for all selected pilgrims to complete the Saudi visa biometric process in order to obtain their Hajj visas.
According to a spokesperson for the ministry, pilgrims who fail to complete the biometric verification will not be issued a Hajj visa under any circumstances. The ministry stated that all pilgrims must complete their biometric registration through the “Saudi Visa Bio” mobile application, which is used to collect fingerprints and other biometric information required by Saudi authorities.
The spokesperson acknowledged that some pilgrims may face technical issues or fingerprint mismatches while using the application. In such cases, pilgrims have been instructed to visit their nearest Tasheer Center and complete the biometric process in person no later than February 8. The ministry clarified that failure to meet the deadline will result in visa rejection, and responsibility will lie entirely with the pilgrim concerned.
Officials said the biometric requirement has been declared a mandatory part of Hajj arrangements by the Saudi government to ensure data accuracy, enhance security, and streamline immigration procedures.
Pilgrims have been advised not to wait until the last date and to complete the biometric process as early as possible to avoid delays or complications. The ministry emphasized that cooperation from all pilgrims is essential to ensure smooth and transparent Hajj 2026 arrangements.
