Security Forces Kill 41 Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operations in Balochistan: ISPR

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: (Click Pakistan) On Jan. 29, the Pakistani security forces killed 41 terrorists in counterterrorism operations in Baluchistan’s Harnai and Panjgur districts, which were intelligence-based operations, according to the ISPR.

The Inter-Services Public Relations announced in a statement that the operations were initiated because it got credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the localities. The security forces targeted several hide outs that were later destroyed.

The ISPR claimed that 30 terrorists were killed in Harnai and 11 were killed  in Panjgur, respectively. The statement claimed that the terrorists had been involved in a number of violence acts against the civilians and security officers.

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from India-backed terrorists. The ISPR also said that a sum of money stolen in a bank robbery in Panjgur was also confiscated during the operation.

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces as a result of their successful operations and termed them as easy indication of a strong stand of the state on terrorism. He explained that successful campaigns against terrorist groups portray the government to be concerned with national security.

The president further stated that counterterrorism would go on until the country attained complete peace and stability.

The ISPR claimed the operations had stressed the sustained effort by the security forces to root-out terrorism in Balochistan.
