Bahawalpur:(Click Pakistan) – In a disturbing case of animal cruelty, a landlord in Bahawalpur allegedly chopped off the legs of a buffalo with an axe after accusing it of entering his crops.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in Rawat, Punjab, where a donkey was brutally attacked for accidentally entering someone’s field. In that case, the owner had left the donkey free to drink water, but it wandered onto a farm, prompting the accused, Arshad Mahmood, to cut off the donkey’s ears in anger.
Another tragic example dates back to 2024 in Sanghar, Sindh, where a powerful landlord and his associates cut off the leg of a female camel over a land dispute. Action against the influential suspect was reportedly delayed, raising serious concern among civil society.
