Trump Warns of Strikes on Iran if Strait of Hormuz Remains Closed

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

WASHINGTON: Donald Trump has warned that the United States could target key infrastructure in Iran if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened by Tuesday. In a social media statement, Trump said potential targets may include power plants and bridges, signaling possible escalation if the critical shipping route remains blocked.

The Strait of Hormuz, a vital passage for global oil shipments, has been effectively shut by Iran amid rising tensions following recent US and Israeli military actions. The closure has already triggered concerns in global markets, contributing to a surge in oil prices.

Trump also announced he will address the situation in a press conference at the Oval Office on Monday. The statement follows a recent US military operation that successfully rescued two American pilots after their aircraft crashed inside Iran.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials clarified that restrictions in the Strait do not apply to all countries. Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that Iraq is exempt from the transit limitations, which are directed only at nations considered hostile by Tehran.

The situation continues to raise fears of broader regional conflict and economic disruption.
