Nowshera Police Conducts Successful Crackdown on Drug Traffickers, Seizing Over 7 kg of High-Quality Cannabis
Nowshera, Pakistan: Police in Nowshera have made a significant breakthrough in their ongoing campaign against drug trafficking. Under the supervision of SDPO Jawad Khan of the Akora circle, and led by SHO Faisal Khan of Masri Banda police station, authorities apprehended two suspects and recovered a total of 7.01 kilograms of high-quality cannabis.
The arrested individuals, Syeda Khan, son of Wasil Khan from Association Payan Akora, and Saddam, son of Laiq Shah from Watad, were taken into custody following a targeted operation. Police have registered formal cases against both suspects and initiated a thorough investigation.
District Police Chief Ahmed Shah reaffirmed the department’s commitment to maintaining a drug-free Nowshera, emphasizing continued vigilance and proactive measures to curb narcotics in the region. This operation marks another step in the local police’s efforts to protect the community from illegal substances and strengthen public safety.
