Several Injured, Including a Bystander, as Police Rush to Control Violence
SARGODHA: Violence broke out outside the District Teaching Hospital in Sargodha when two groups clashed, leaving multiple people injured, including a passerby. The confrontation began when members of both factions, originating from Chak 101 North, arrived at the hospital for medical treatment and reignited a prior dispute.
Eyewitnesses reported that during the altercation, both sides used firearms and sticks freely, resulting in severe injuries. Police, including the ASP City, SHO Factory Area, and SHO Cantt, arrived swiftly at the scene and managed to regain control. Two individuals were taken into custody, and additional police personnel were deployed at the hospital to maintain security.
According to the ASP City, both groups belong to the same village and had a history of previous conflicts. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and authorities have assured that all suspects will be apprehended soon.
