470 Traffic Officers Deployed in Islamabad Markets Ahead of Eid

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Islamabad: The spokesperson for Islamabad Police has announced a coordinated traffic management plan by the Islamabad Traffic Police to facilitate citizens visiting markets.

According to the spokesperson, 470 traffic officers have been deployed in different markets across the city to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.

The traffic police warned that strict action will be taken against activities such as hooliganism, drifting, and one-wheeling in market areas. However, it added that enforcement in markets will remain limited until Eid in order to facilitate shoppers.

Islamabad Traffic Police stated that it considers itself a partner in the happiness of citizens and will focus on providing guidance, education, and facilities to people visiting markets for shopping.

Citizens have been requested to park their vehicles only in designated parking areas and cooperate with traffic police officials to maintain order.

The public has also been urged to report any incidents of hooliganism, one-wheeling, or drifting by calling 1915 or the emergency helpline Pukar-15.
