51 Pakistanis Return Home in First Phase of Iran Repatriation Effort

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan has initiated the evacuation of its citizens from Iran as regional tensions escalate following the ongoing Iran-US and Israel conflict. In the first phase of the repatriation process 51 Pakistani nationals, including five students safely returned home through the Gabd Rimdan border crossing.

According to Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Naqeebullah Kakar the returnees included students businesspersons and tourists who were stranded after the security situation in Iran deteriorated. Authorities described the operation as an accelerated humanitarian effort aimed at ensuring the safe return of citizens amid rising instability.

The Federal Investigation Agency established round the clock immigration counters at the border to facilitate swift documentation and security clearance. Special arrangements were made to minimize delays and ensure smooth entry.

On the directives of Mir Sarfraz Bugti the Balochistan government arranged temporary accommodation, meals, and onward travel assistance for returnees after their long journeys.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take immediate steps for evacuation and coordinate with Azerbaijan to explore additional transit routes. The Foreign Office has advised citizens to avoid non essential travel to Iran and remain vigilant.
