According to Anwar Zeb Khan (KALAK Pakistan), the Nowshera Cantonment Police conducted a successful operation in a major robbery case worth 2.5 million PKR at the Kashiti Pul area. The operation was led by SDPO Hafeez Yousafzai.

Police arrested the ringleader of a highly dangerous inter-district robbery gang. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and revealed key details about the network. Authorities also recovered his share of the stolen money amounting to PKR 1.27 million.

The police further recovered weapons used in the robbery. Special raid teams have been formed to arrest the remaining accomplices of the gang, who are still at large. Officials stated that further arrests are expected soon.

According to the SDPO, the arrested ringleader was also wanted in several serious cases across different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He had reportedly fled abroad after committing the crimes and was later tracked down upon his return with the help of intelligence sources.

In another case, a complainant named Hassan Ibrahim reported that he was robbed of PKR 2.5 million near Kashiti Pul while transporting collected payments. Another victim, Sajid Ali, also reported a separate robbery of PKR 165,000 near GT Road.

Both cases were registered, and a dedicated investigation team led by SHO Kashif Khan and Inspector Anwar Khan was formed to trace the suspects and recover the stolen assets. The complainant expressed satisfaction over the police’s performance.
