According to prison officials, the conversation lasted between 25 to 30 minutes, during which Khan spoke with his sons Qasim Khan and Suleman Khan. The sons inquired about their father’s health and wellbeing.
Sources added that the conversation brought visible happiness to the former premier, who was pleased to connect with his children on the festive occasion.
Family Interaction on Eid
The development comes as many inmates are allowed limited contact with family members during Eid. The interaction highlighted the emotional importance of family connections during religious festivals, even under restricted circumstances.
