Pakistan Day 2026 Celebrated Nationwide with Renewed Unity and Pride

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Nation commemorates Lahore Resolution with military salutes, prayers, and civic events emphasizing unity and progress

Pakistan Day was observed across the country on Monday with renewed national pride, unity, and tribute to the historic Lahore Resolution that laid the foundation for an independent homeland.

The day opened with traditional 31-gun salutes in Islamabad and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals, followed by special prayers in mosques for peace, stability, and prosperity. Despite the cancellation of the customary military parade due to austerity measures, ceremonies continued nationwide with full patriotic fervor.

In major cities, leaders and officials paid homage at the mausoleums of national icons, while armed forces and law enforcement personnel reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the country. Guard-changing ceremonies and floral wreaths highlighted the spirit of remembrance and respect for founding figures.

Provincial initiatives also marked the day, including a large-scale tree plantation drive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and long-term national development.

Officials across the government emphasized unity, discipline, and self-reliance as guiding principles for progress, urging citizens to uphold the vision of the nation’s founders.
