Ukraine Drone Strike Hits Russia’s Key Baltic Oil Terminal

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Ukraine has carried out a drone attack on Russia’s major western export facility, the Baltic Oil Terminal at Primorsk Port according to reports citing a British newspaper. The port is a critical hub for Russian crude exports handling approximately one million barrels of oil per day.

The attack reportedly targeted storage facilities at the terminal, with satellite images showing large plumes of smoke and fire rising from the site. The port is also known as a key center for vessels operating under sanctions-evasion networks, often referred to as the shadow fleet transporting Russian oil.

In addition to Primorsk another strike reportedly hit an oil refinery in the Russian city of Ufa, forcing operations at the facility to halt temporarily. The coordinated nature of the attacks suggests a broader campaign targeting Russia’s energy infrastructure.

The incident comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions, as Ukraine has expressed concern over any easing of restrictions on Russian oil. Kyiv has urged Western allies, particularly in Europe, to maintain pressure on Moscow through continued sanctions.

The attack highlights the vulnerability of critical energy infrastructure and adds further uncertainty to global oil markets already affected by ongoing regional conflicts.
