Anger grows among job seekers as unresolved recruitment delays trigger protest near H-11 area in the federal capital.
ISLAMABAD: Tension mounted in the federal capital as recruitment-related grievances in the Islamabad Police remained unresolved, prompting affected candidates to stage a protest outside the Police Lines area near the H-11 graveyard.
Demonstrators, including individuals who describe themselves as previously impacted by earlier recruitment processes, gathered early in the day and began a sit-in to press their demands for transparency and resolution. Protesters argued that delays and unresolved issues in the hiring process have left many qualified candidates in prolonged uncertainty.
The protest site remained peaceful but vocal, with participants urging authorities to address their concerns without further delay. Many expressed frustration over what they described as repeated administrative hurdles and lack of clarity regarding recruitment outcomes.
Officials from the Islamabad Police have not yet issued a detailed public statement regarding the latest demonstration. However, security personnel were present in the area to monitor the situation and ensure public order.
