Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information has stated that attempts to harm the country for political gain will fail, accusing Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) of damaging the country’s image internationally. Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he condemned alleged propaganda against Pakistan and said no political party or leader is above the state.
Tarar criticized reported activities involving Zulfi Bukhari and Arif Aajakia claiming their meeting reflects coordinated anti Pakistan efforts. He also alleged that PTI linked social media accounts have failed to condemn Israel, calling such silence concerning.
Meanwhile Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari claimed that the sons of PTI founder Imran Khan met pro Israel lobbyists in the United States and attempted to influence Pakistan’s GSP Plus trade status.
In response, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan rejected the allegations, stating that Imran Khan’s children are non political and have the right to speak for their father. He also denied any statements against Pakistan’s economic interests, intensifying the ongoing political confrontation.
