Sarfaraz Bugti has announced the creation of new districts in Balochistan, granting district status to Barshore in Pishin as part of efforts to improve governance and development.
Speaking at a public gathering in Barshore he said the area will now move toward progress, with government institutions being strengthened and made functional. He emphasized that closed schools across the province will be reopened and strict action will be taken against officials who fail to perform their duties.
Bugti assured residents that improved healthcare facilities would be provided and pledged to personally visit different parts of Balochistan to stay connected with the public. He stated that no one could prevent him from engaging directly with citizens.
Commenting on regional matters, he described Afghanistan as a brotherly neighboring country, noting Pakistan’s decades long support for Afghan refugees but expressing disappointment over the outcomes of this relationship.
He also reaffirmed confidence in Pakistan’s defense under Asim Munir stating the country’s sovereignty remains secure. The chief minister further condemned recent actions by Israel against Iran, calling for peace and stability in the region.
