Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi announces sweeping changes in provincial cabinet, appointing new Ministers, Advisors, and Special Assistants.
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Wednesday announced a major expansion and reshuffle of the provincial cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, appointing new ministers, advisors, and special assistants to strengthen governance and administrative performance.
According to the official announcement, several ministers have been assigned key portfolios. Aaqibullah Khan has been given Local Government, while Shakeel Khan will oversee Tourism. Meena Khan Afridi, Aftab Alam Afridi, and Arshad Ayub Khan were also inducted into the cabinet with major responsibilities.
Other appointments include Fazal Hakeem Khan, Muhammad Sajad, Haleeq-ur-Rehman, Faisal Tarakai, Fazal Shakoor Khan, Muhammad Adnan Qadri, and Fakhar Jahan.
In addition, advisors including Shafi Jan, Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Muzzammil Aslam, Kamran Bangash, Irfan Salim, and Ayesha Bano were appointed.
Special assistants including Ikhtisham Khan, Abdul Karim Khan, Shah Zahir Tor, and Qasim Ali Shah were also named. The government said the reshuffle aims to improve efficiency and accelerate development across the province.
