Opposition Leaders Back Government, Hail Pakistan’s Role in Ceasefire

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leaders have expressed strong support for the government’s role in recent diplomatic developments, calling it a moment of national unity and pride.

Speaking in the National Assembly, opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai said only a “mad person” would not celebrate this achievement. He stated that despite political differences, the opposition stands firmly with Pakistan and supports the government unconditionally in the current situation. He emphasized the need for unity among all national leaders and stressed cooperation for the country’s better future.

Achakzai also remarked that former US President Donald Trump had miscalculated by expecting Iran to surrender. He urged the country to seize this opportunity for progress, adding that Pakistan is rich in resources and should not rely on external assistance.

He further called for dialogue with the founder of PTI, highlighting his popularity and suggesting engagement for political stability.

Meanwhile, addressing the Senate, Aimal Wali Khan, president of the Awami National Party, termed the day “historic” for Pakistan. He praised the government’s efforts and extended congratulations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the military leadership.

Aimal Wali Khan emphasized that Pakistan has demonstrated the importance of dialogue over conflict, expressing hope for continued peace and stability in the coming days.
