A meeting regarding low-recovery wards of the Revenue Wing was held under the chairmanship of Managing Director WASA Rawalpindi, Aziz Ullah Khan, with relevant officers in attendance.
During the meeting, it was directed that a special campaign be launched in areas with low revenue recovery to ensure that all outstanding dues are collected at any cost. Strict action against defaulters was emphasized, along with the need to significantly improve recovery performance.
On the instructions of the Managing Director, the public has also been advised not to make any cash payments to WASA employees under any circumstances. The department clarified that all bills and dues must be paid only through designated and authorized channels. In case of any violation, the payer will be held responsible.
