Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has made history by becoming the first player to score 4,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He achieved this milestone during a match against Lahore Qalandars while leading Peshawar Zalmi.
Babar is the only player in PSL history to reach this landmark, having represented Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and Peshawar Zalmi. So far, he has played 105 matches in the league, scoring 2 centuries and 37 half-centuries.
In addition, Babar Azam has equaled the record for the most century partnerships in T20 cricket. He now has 46 century stands, matching Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle. Notably, Babar reached this milestone in just 339 innings, fewer than both Kohli and Gayle.
