Pakistani military contingent arrives in Saudi Arabia under strategic defense pact

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense has announced that a Pakistani military contingent has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base under a bilateral strategic defense agreement.

In a statement shared on X, the ministry said the deployment is part of the joint strategic cooperation between the two brotherly nations. The Pakistani contingent includes Pakistan Air Force fighter and support aircraft, aimed at enhancing military coordination, improving operational readiness, and promoting regional and global stability.

The agreement was signed in September 2025 in Riyadh between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. It states that any aggression against one country would be considered aggression against both.

Recent regional tensions, particularly involving Iran, have further strengthened defense coordination between the two countries.
