Regional foreign ministers to meet in Türkiye over Iran tensions

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt are set to meet this week in Türkiye to discuss rising regional tensions involving Iran.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, the meeting will take place in Antalya. The talks will focus on proposals presented to Iran, including efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and advance a lasting ceasefire with the United States.

Officials said the meeting is part of broader diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between the US and Iran and restart negotiations aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in the Gulf.

Following the recent round of talks in Islamabad that ended without agreement, regional countries are accelerating efforts to bring both sides back to the negotiating table. Sources suggest a second round of talks could take place within the next few days.
