PM Shehbaz Sharif Receives Warm Welcome in Doha, Holds Key Talks with Qatar Leadership

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Prime minister’s visit aims to strengthen economic ties, boost investment and enhance regional cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha on an official visit, receiving a warm welcome marked by a red carpet reception and ceremonial honors, officials said.

At Hamad International Airport, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi greeted the prime minister and his delegation. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Qatari armed forces presented a guard of honor upon his arrival.

The airport and major roads in Doha were decorated with the national flags of Pakistan and Qatar, reflecting the strong bilateral ties between the two countries. During the visit, the prime minister is scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Discussions are expected to focus on expanding cooperation in trade, investment and energy, along with regional developments and Pakistan’s efforts for global peace.

The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and international media representative Musharraf Zaidi.

Pakistan and Qatar share deep-rooted cultural and economic ties, with Qatar being a key supplier of liquefied natural gas and a major destination for Pakistani workers.
