Lahore Qalandars’ Haris Rauf Says Winning Has Become a Habit After Seventh Straight Victory

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Lahore Qalandars fast bowler Haris Rauf said the team has completely transformed its mindset, stating that losing is now a thing of the past as winning has become a habit after lifting the PSL trophy three times.

Speaking after Lahore Qalandars’ 32-run victory over Rawalpindi Kings in PSL 11, Haris Rauf praised the batting unit for setting a strong total. “Our batters played really well and gave us a big score, which made it easier to defend on a tricky pitch,” he said.

He added that continuous improvement and learning from mistakes have been key to the team’s success. “When performances don’t go well, we focus on correcting our mistakes. The issues we had in the last few matches, we worked on them,” he noted.

Responding to criticism about pace bowling variations, Haris said players are often judged differently depending on conditions. “Sometimes people ask for pace, and when you bowl fast they ask for variation,” he remarked.

The pacer emphasized self-improvement and discipline in T20 cricket, saying wickets are crucial to controlling runs. “In T20 cricket, if you take wickets, you can stop the runs,” he said.

He further stated that Lahore Qalandars have built a winning culture over the years. “We left the habit of losing five years ago. Now, after winning three titles, victory has become our habit,” he added.

Lahore Qalandars posted 210/4, while Rawalpindi Kings were bowled out for 178, marking their seventh consecutive defeat of the season.
