Joint patrols between Pakistan’s Khunjerab Security Force and Chinese troops highlighted growing border coordination, security cooperation, and strategic friendship at the high-altitude frontier.
A significant joint border exercise between Pakistan’s Khunjerab Security Force (KSF) and Chinese military personnel was conducted at the strategically important Khunjerab Pass, reinforcing the deepening security partnership between the two neighboring countries.
According to the spokesperson for Gilgit-Baltistan Police, the joint patrolling activity aimed to strengthen border security mechanisms, improve coordination, and enhance mutual cooperation along the Pakistan-China frontier.
The exercise was led by IP Ghulam Nabi, in-charge of the Khunjerab Security Force, who supervised KSF personnel during the operation. Security officials from both sides demonstrated professional skills, operational discipline, and coordinated field readiness throughout the drills.
The high-profile activity also reflected the growing strategic trust between Pakistan and China, particularly in border management and regional stability. During the event, officials and personnel raised enthusiastic slogans of “Long Live Pak-China Friendship,” symbolizing the enduring diplomatic and security ties shared by the two countries.
Pakistan and China have continued expanding cooperation in trade, security, and infrastructure, with the Khunjerab border serving as a key gateway connecting the two allies.
