Renowned Islamic Scholar Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi Passes Away, Leaving Thousands of Students in Mourning

Leading Islamic scholar and head of Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Dar-ul-Ifta, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi, has passed away, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in Islamic education and jurisprudence.

Pakistan’s religious and academic communities are mourning the passing of renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi, who served as the head of the Dar-ul-Ifta of Minhaj-ul-Quran. News of his death has sparked an outpouring of grief from scholars, students, and followers across the country and abroad.

Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi was widely respected for his deep expertise in Islamic sciences and Islamic jurisprudence. He dedicated many years to teaching at the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, where he played a significant role in educating generations of students. Thousands of his pupils are currently serving in religious and educational capacities both within Pakistan and internationally.

According to available details, his funeral prayer will be offered after Maghrib prayers at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran. The funeral prayer will be led by Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the organization’s Supreme Council.

Expressing profound sorrow over the scholar’s passing, Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri described him as a sincere, practicing, and distinguished scholar who made invaluable contributions to the teaching of Islamic jurisprudence. He noted that Mufti Hazarvi devoted his life to the promotion of religious knowledge and the guidance of students.
