Why Was Imran Khan Secretly Moved Again? Late-Night Hospital Visit Sparks Fresh Questions

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

PTI renews demands for immediate hospitalisation and family access after Imran Khan is briefly transferred from Adiala Jail to Islamabad’s PIMS for medical treatment.

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was briefly transferred from Adiala Jail to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad late Sunday night for medical treatment before being returned to prison, according to senior party leaders.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said Khan was taken to the hospital to receive an injection and was shifted back to jail shortly afterward. The development has reignited concerns about the former premier’s health and prompted renewed calls from PTI for his transfer to a full-service medical facility.

The government and jail authorities had not publicly commented on Khan’s current condition or the nature of the treatment at the time of reporting. PTI leaders also demanded immediate access for Khan’s family and personal physicians.

Health concerns surrounding the 74-year-old politician have remained a major issue since his imprisonment in 2023. Earlier medical examinations reportedly diagnosed Khan with Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO), a serious eye condition that can lead to permanent vision loss if left untreated. He previously underwent a specialized ophthalmic procedure at PIMS under tight security.

Khan’s personal doctors have repeatedly urged authorities to transfer him to a tertiary-care hospital for comprehensive evaluation, while PTI has criticized state-supervised medical assessments conducted without the presence of family members or private physicians.

The former prime minister, who was removed from office through a parliamentary no-confidence vote in 2022, remains one of Pakistan’s most influential political figures despite his incarceration.
