Rising actor Raza Ahmed shares how Samar Jafri, social media success, and persistence helped shape his growing career in entertainment.
Content creator turned actor Raza Ahmed has opened up about the major turning point in his career, revealing that actor Samar Jafri played an important role in helping him secure the character Guddu in the Express Entertainment drama Raja London Ka.
In a recent interview, Ahmed reflected on his journey from making Instagram reels to entering television and films. He said Jafri had been following his online content before the drama’s casting process and appreciated his work. According to Ahmed, discussions between Jafri’s manager and his videographer eventually helped create an opportunity for him.
Ahmed praised Jafri’s personality on set, describing him as friendly, cooperative, and free of arrogance. He said the chemistry between the cast members made long shooting hours enjoyable, especially because his funny character balanced well with Jafri’s more serious role.
The actor also recalled entertaining moments during filming, including a humorous exchange after he praised Jafri’s song but failed to sing the lyrics when challenged.
Ahmed shared that Guddu’s Karachi-inspired personality and Bollywood-style charm made the role feel perfect for him. He initially hesitated due to the demanding schedule but later accepted the project.
He also discussed his appearance in Fahad Mustafa’s film Aag Lagey Basti Mein and credited Tabish Hashmi for recommending him. Ahmed said these experiences strengthened his passion for acting.
