14-Year-Old Girl Dies After Alleged Wrong Injection at Sargodha Medical Store, Family Demands Justice

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

A 14-year-old girl has died in Sargodha after allegedly receiving incorrect injections from an unqualified practitioner at a medical store, prompting her family to demand a transparent investigation and legal action against those responsible.

According to the victim’s mother, Aliza Fatima was taken to a local medical store for treatment of an ingrown toenail. She alleged that during the dressing procedure, an unqualified individual administered two injections. The family claims the girl’s condition deteriorated immediately after the injections, leading to her emergency transfer to the DHQ Teaching Hospital in critical condition.

Hospital officials placed the teenager on a ventilator, where she remained under treatment for three days before succumbing to her condition.

Following the incident, the victim’s mother submitted an application to the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Commissioner of Sargodha, and other relevant authorities. She requested an impartial inquiry into the case, registration of a criminal case against the alleged suspects, immediate sealing of the medical store, and strict legal action under applicable laws.
