HMD refreshes the classic Nokia feature phone lineup by adding AI-powered voice controls, video calling, USB-C charging and 4G connectivity while preserving the familiar keypad design.
HMD has expanded its feature phone portfolio by introducing four new Nokia-branded keypad phones that combine classic design with modern features, including an AI assistant, video calling and 4G connectivity.
The new lineup includes the Nokia 200 4G, Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition and Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition. All four devices run the S30+ operating system and retain Nokia’s signature physical keypad, making them suitable for users who prefer a simple mobile experience without giving up essential smart features.
A standout addition is a dedicated AI button positioned in the center of the directional pad. It activates the Sikey AI assistant, allowing users to perform everyday tasks through voice commands. The assistant can answer basic questions, switch on the flashlight, launch the camera, set reminders and alarms, and place calls to saved contacts.
HMD is offering the AI service free for the first 180 days. After the trial period, users will need a paid subscription, which can be purchased through a companion smartphone application.
The new feature phones also support video calling through the Xpress Chat app. Each model includes a front-facing VGA camera, enabling users to make video calls, send voice messages, exchange photos and text messages, and share emojis. Friends and family using Android or iPhone devices can join conversations by downloading the Xpress Chat app.
Display sizes vary across the range. The Nokia 200 4G and Nokia 210 4G feature 2.4-inch QVGA screens, while the Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition and Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition offer larger 2.8-inch IPS displays with the same QVGA resolution. For photography, the Nokia 210 4G includes a VGA rear camera, while the Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition upgrades to a 2MP sensor.
All four models are equipped with removable 1,450mAh batteries, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio support, providing practical features that continue to appeal to feature phone users.
