Pakistan women’s captain Fatima Sana has signed with the Vancouver Anchors for the 2026 Canada Super 60, adding another major franchise opportunity ahead of her historic debut in The Hundred.

The six-day competition will run from September 29 to October 4, with franchises assembling squads featuring some of the world’s leading cricketers. The Vancouver Anchors confirmed the signing on their official social media platforms, welcoming the 24-year-old bowling all-rounder as one of their marquee players for the upcoming season.
The latest contract comes just days before Sana is set to become the first Pakistan women’s cricketer to play in The Hundred. She is expected to make her debut for Birmingham Phoenix in the team’s opening match against Southern Brave after replacing Australia’s Lucy Hamilton, who withdrew due to workload management. Sana will earn the tournament’s minimum overseas player salary of £15,000.
Her inclusion in two high-profile franchise leagues highlights her growing reputation on the international stage. Renowned for her ability to contribute with both bat and ball, Sana has become one of Pakistan’s most dependable all-rounders and an increasingly sought-after player in global T20 competitions.
The Pakistan skipper heads into the franchise season on the back of an outstanding ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign. In Pakistan’s closely fought match against South Africa, she produced a brilliant unbeaten 55 off 38 balls before claiming three wickets for just 16 runs. Although Pakistan narrowly lost by two wickets, Sana’s all-round display earned widespread recognition and reinforced her status as one of the tournament’s standout performers.
Sana is also among three Pakistani players featuring in this year’s edition of The Hundred. She will be joined by Usman Tariq at Birmingham Phoenix, while mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed will represent Sunrisers Leeds after securing a £190,000 contract during the player draft.
