Gold Price Breaks Rs427,000 Barrier in Pakistan as Global Rally Continues

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Global bullion gains pushed gold prices higher in Pakistan, while silver registered a decline in the local market.

Gold prices continued their upward momentum in Pakistan on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold crossing the Rs427,000 mark per tola after following another rise in international bullion markets.

According to the latest market rates, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,000 per tola, taking it to Rs427,436. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also moved higher by Rs857 to settle at Rs366,457.

The increase came as international gold prices advanced by $10, lifting the precious metal to $4,050 per ounce, including the prevailing premium. Pakistan’s gold market typically mirrors movements in global bullion prices, with local rates also influenced by fluctuations in the exchange rate.

While gold continued to strengthen, silver moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver declined by Rs76 per tola, settling at Rs6,215 in the local market.

Bullion traders said domestic gold prices remain closely linked to trends in international markets. Ongoing movements in global economic conditions, investor demand for safe-haven assets, central bank policies, and geopolitical developments continue to influence the direction of precious metal prices.
