PM Shehbaz Sharif reviews upcoming Hajj preparations and directs the Ministry of Religious Affairs to ensure timely arrangements and better facilities for Pakistani pilgrims.
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to complete all necessary preparations for the upcoming Hajj on time and ensure the best possible facilities for Pakistani pilgrims.
The prime minister issued the directives during a meeting with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, who briefed him on the progress of preparations and arrangements for the next Hajj.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the religious affairs minister also updated Shehbaz on matters concerning the ministry and various initiatives being undertaken by it.
The prime minister emphasized the need for effective planning and timely completion of all arrangements so Pakistani pilgrims can perform their religious obligations with greater ease and convenience.
The meeting comes as Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs continues preparations for the upcoming Hajj season, with arrangements requiring coordination across multiple areas to facilitate pilgrims before and during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
Shehbaz directed the ministry to ensure that all necessary measures are completed within the required timelines and that arrangements remain focused on providing quality services to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.
